The European Aluminium Association (EAA)'s website has been designed and structured to allow you to access a maximum amount of topic-related information with minimal effort. Information on aluminium and the industry has been published in an interrelated way so that whichever you are at, you also see other related information on other sections of the website.

Here are some useful tips you may like to use to get the most out of the EAA website:

Finding information

We have done our utmost to make your visit an efficient and fruitful one, but if you cannot find your way, we recommend consulting the sitemap, which provides an overview of the entire site. There you can select the type of information you are looking for and go directly to the section you are interested in.

Another way to find information is by using the search engine. If you are looking for information and happen to know one or more words included in that piece of information, you can use these as key words to refine your search. If you only know what kind of information you are looking for, then you can search by field of interest. There are many helpful ways in which you can find the information you are looking for with the search engine and advanced search functions.

EAA also has a mindmap, which is a cloud of the different tags or keywords used to interrelate the information available on the website. Go to mindmap (bottom of page) to view the whole tag cloud or go to a specific web page on aluminium or the industry to view each related tag list. Click on a tag and you will get a list of all information and documentation that also has that tag.

Reading information

EAA wants to make sure you have easy access to all the information it has to offer. That’s why each article page offers an article toolbar in the right column, where you can:

  • Directly print the article out in a print-friendly way;
  • Email the article to a friend;
  • Download the article onto your computer as a PDF document; and
  • Directly access information and documents related to the article.

If you do not have a PDF reader installed on your computer, you can download one for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
