The Aluminium Automotive Manual is conceived with the
objective to provide the automotive engineer with a source
of information on aluminium automotive materials.
Six major sections address most recent automotive
applications, materials and products, manufacturing
technologies and joining techniques, as well as design
issues, and contain about 240 major and minor chapters.
This 1st Edition still has a few building sites, which
will be filled in due course. Look for dates of update issues.
The information was contributed by a large group of experts
of the aluminium industry. As the Manual is a joint effort
of the sponsoring aluminium industry, it is by necessity
pre-competitive of nature. Users are, therefore, invited
to obtain further detailed information on specific subjects
of proprietary nature or developments from
individual aluminium company sources.
